I am joining Pam in her blog carnival featuring all the little every day things we will miss one day. The other day, Elisabeth dropped something on the floor at breakfast. When I bent down to pick it up, I saw this...Right after I took this photo, the kids and dear old Pa starting sword fighting with my rubber spatulas and wooden spoons. Yes, that is a common occurrence. That's when I realized that is something else I will miss one day... seven sets of feet pounding on the floor as they chase Pa down the hall for a wrestling match.

Believe it or not, I drop by more than I comment. But wanted to tell you how cute this was ... especially since I can hear all of you gathered around the table. Adorable picture ...
ReplyDeleteLove this post...and even thought you have more way feet under your table, I am still gonna miss that too! And I love the sound of everyone giggling and wrestling! Enjoy your Saturday!
ReplyDeleteThat is a perfect moment! What a great perspective...I love seeing all the feet too, that is so cute :) It will be hard when all those pitter patters are not heard and the giggling...i try to keep that in the back of my mind too when the kids aren't getting along! :) Such a sweet moment to cherish! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI particularly like that sweet "little" foot stuck out on the side that can't reach the floor yet. Sooooo precious!

I didn't see the way the foot picture came out...not bad ☺
ReplyDeleteI love the thought that went into this post. I love how stopped what you were doing and took a picture of what you would want to remember later in life. I love capturing moments! And you did! I know I will enjoy following you! Hope for a couple of more kids to add to our clan. At one it doesn't feel like we are done.
